The Canadian Arts Coalition is recruiting voting members – representatives from national arts service organizations and equivalents who believe that it’s time to communicate the value of the arts in Canada to our fellow Canadians!
An annual membership fee of $100 provides members with the right to nominate people to the Coalition steering committee, to vote on the steering committee slate, and to engage deeply with the work of the Coalition. Additional contributions to help defray campaign costs are welcome. Tax receipts are NOT available for Coalition membership fees or contributions.

Magazines Canada has agreed to serve as financial agent for the Coalition.
Membership fees and campaign contributions can be made by cheque only.
Cheques are payable to Magazines Canada; please make reference to the Canadian Arts Coalition in the “reference” line.

Speak Up!
The short-term goals of the coalition will include two specific asks that coalition members will advocate to all parties: 1) increase the annual budget of the Canada Council for the Arts to $300 million; and 2) invest in a new market access and development fund – an investment measure aimed, in part, at replacing cut programs that supported international touring and dissemination.
